Peter Vardy ltd have commissioned a new Vauxhall dealership to be built at the Mitchelston Industrial Estate, Caxton Place, Kirkcaldy.
The dealership is being built by Management Design Build Ltd from Hull, who specialize in construction work for the automotive industry and has a long track record of projects carried out for most of the main franchises throughout the UK
Work commenced on site midway through May and is due for completion by the end of August 2007.
The finished development will include a New Car Showroom to display ten new Vauxhall cars built to Vauxhall's exacting corporate standards, and an external Used Car Display featuring 120 cars.
The separate Workshop facility will provide 9 car ramps, 2 commercial ramps, and a MOT bay, Bisset Adams, who are also Vauxhall's retained architects, are the Architects for the scheme, and the Structural Engineer is D C Farquhar from Glasgow, and the whole development is being Project / Cost Managed in-house by the Vardy Property Group team.
