Peter Vardy Ltd purchased an existing Vauxhall dealership on a 2 acres site in Motherwell from Pendragon Plc in April 2007, and are planning to redevelop the site to provide an up to the minute Vauxhall facility that will include a New Car Showroom for Vauxhall and Chevrolet, a 12 vehicle ramp & 2 Mot Bay Workshop facility, and a Drive Thru Service Centre, based upon an American concept of timed appointments & a fast reliable for Service Customers.
The existing business will remain open and trading throughout the construction period.
The scheme, with a construction cost of approx £2.5 million, is programmed to start on site in September and to be complete by April 2008.
This project is being Project / Cost Managed by the in-house Vardy Property Group team.
The Project Architect is Hamish Clark of Honeyman Jack and the Structural Engineer McClay Collier both from Glasgow.
